We are dedicated to justice in the Pasadena area, partnering with groups like L.A. Voice, The Greater Pasadena Affordable Housing Group (GPAHG), Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice, and the Clergy Community Coalition.
We are also dedicated to global justice efforts, include calling for a permanent ceasefire and an end to US military aid of Israel through the group Mennonite Action, advocating for Indigenous justice through the Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery, and many other partners. We are part of weekly vigils on Mondays for a free Palestine that members of our church initiated and that have become an enduring grassroots and multi-faith effort here in Pasadena.
Our commitments to God’s loving, just, and revolutionary kin-dom of peace and justice, to nonviolent resistance to evil in the spirit of Jesus, and our participation in a Beloved Community beyond our congregation guide us in our work for justice and peace.
