Reach out and Touch Faith

Nick Piliero, Doubting Thomas

In this week’s sermon, Melissa Hofstetter reminds us of the power of connection, for those of us especially that may feel out of touch in this moment. As she considers Jesus’s offer to Thomas to touch his side, we are invited to consider the importance of touch, in Scripture and in our lives. As we focus on the wound, we consider the intimacy of woundedness and the importance of our ability to connect to one another in our woundedness and mutual reliance. Concluding her sermon, Melissa exhorts us, “In Christ’s love, may we be good friends and good partners to one another. Amen.
